On 27th and 29th January 2020, in collaboration with the National AIDS Council, HASO conducted training on use of INSTI rapid HIV testing with twenty three senior nurses from the Primary Health Centres and the Seychelles Hospital at the Sheik Khalifa conference room. The aim of the training was to contribute to the National HIV/AIDS strategic priority 1.1‘Scaling up of HIV testing and counseling for all with a focus on key and at risk populations’.

The training was a great success with good interaction and participation from the nurses.

Most of them were able to demonstrate the HIV testing techniques with the help of the trainers present.

All participants attending the training find it very fruitful and thank HASO for the training.
There will be more such training for other nurses in the near future.
